The ‘Elettrosonda DB’ is a multi-relay control unit designed to manage the levels of conductive liquids within preset parameters, activating/deactivating pumps or diverting valves and protecting submersible pumps from running dry. The system utilizes low-voltage electrodes, known as “probes,” powered at 24V AC, to detect changes in the liquid level. When the probes come into contact with the conductive liquid, the current passes through the liquid, activating the relay integrated into the control unit.
DB offers flexibility with its 3 relays (alarm, output 1, and 2) and 5 inputs (low alarm, high alarm, on/off control, and differential). Here are some of its functions:
- ON-OFF at a single point: Activates the relay when the probe reaches the desired level.
- Differential: Maintains the level between the LOW and HIGH probes.
- Level alarms: High and/or low level alarms.
- Audible alert for internal high and/or low-level alarms.
- Output signal for external alarm activation (e.g., audible or visual signals), with the ability to enable or disable controls using DIP-SWITCHES.
This versatile device can replace 4 separate relays use to function in a same way. DB is available in various power voltages, such as 24/117/230Vac.

- Basins: Monitoring the water level in basins or ponds.
- Wells: Monitoring and controlling the water level(s) in wells.
- Rainwater Accumulation: monitoring and controlling the water level(s) in rainwater accumulations.
