EV is a relay for the control of conductive liquid levels, suitable for wells, cisterns, tanks (even under pressure) and rainwater applications. It uses electrodes called “probes”, powered at low voltage, to detect current flow in the liquid and activate the relay with fast response times. It allows monitoring the level with two probes for a single level (MAX and COM) or with three probes for a range between a minimum and a maximum (MIN, MAX, and COM).
EV is ideal for confined and deep spaces thanks to: probes without mechanical movements and not very sensitive to the typical humidity of wells and tanks, with low loss power cables over long distances. To adapt to different liquid conductivities, EV has adjustable sensitivity and performance that allows a distance of 1000 meters from the probes, even with maximum sensitivity. It’s possible to set a relay activation delay from 0 to 16 seconds and select the relay operation mode (filling/emptying). The 3-module DIN version (3M) offers a relay output with two changeover contacts, operating at 230V. Additionally, variants designed for different supply voltages: 24Vac/117Vac/230Vac are available.
