Z11 is a relay for the level control of conductive liquids, ideal for wells, tanks, reservoirs (including pressurized ones)… including applications with rainwater. It uses electrodes referred to as “probes”, which operate on low voltage. When these probes come in contact with the liquid, they detect a current flow and activate the relay. This all happens with very fast response times. The solution allows monitoring the level in two ways: using two probes for a single level (MAX and COM) or three probes for a range between a minimum and a maximum (MIN, MAX, and COM).
Z11 is perfect for narrow and deep spaces since the probes don’t require mechanical movements and the cables for the probes have low loss even over long distances. Moreover, the probes are appropriately insensitive to the typical humidity found in wells and tanks. Z11 has a compact design for easy installation even in limited spaces (79x35x88 mm -2 DIN modules) and is available in various sensitivities (NS, AS, SR) and in different power supply voltages 24-48Vac and 117-230Vac (dual voltage).
Z11 is different from Z8 in terms of handling dual-voltage and for the type of combinable base.
